Tips for panic
attacks
Many folks unfortunately seem to spend a fortune on panic attack drugs, that are
arguable not effective in most instances, it has proved to intensify the
condition.
Last year many thousands of dollars world wide was spent on Beta blockers. The
only people that benefited were the drug companies.
It is true to say that this is a milder form of drug, with less risk of side
effects, that is often prescribed for panic attacks.
Beta blockers can have a devastating effect on some individuals, in many cases
it often causes loss of memory, light headed, and make you feel very tired.
You can expect a reduction in your heart rate, stop you from sleeping, and in
general make a person feel depressed. In other cases it can bring on diarrhea, and heavy
colds and many other conditions.
Why do people take beta blockers?
Beta blockers often can give a person temporary relief, and that is what many
people settle for, it’s similar to crutches.
The use of crutches for a broken leg, it will help the person to get around
until the bone nits back together, but in order to get back to playing football or living a
normal life, they have to get used to life without the crutches.
The same applies to using panic attack drugs, the goal would be to eliminate
them from your life.
Unfortunately taking beta blockers, is not as simple as that, they can be quite
addictive unlike the crutches.
There are many other panic attack drugs prescribed, but at the end of
the day if they worked then drug companies would go out of business. Why?
There would be no repeat business.
The facts are once a person starts, and gets hooked on taking panic attack
drugs, it can be difficult to break the habit unless you know how.
The finest cure for panic attacks is to get to the route of the problem, there
is always a reason. I read a recent report of a person that was terrified to go to
bed.
The person had been taking almost every panic attack drugs available. Needless
to say this was not a permanent solution to the problem. As a last resort she paid a visit to
a therapist. It turned out that quite a few years ago, when her husband was working away, she
had a break in during the night when she was sleeping.
To wake up in the morning to find that an intruder has invaded your privacy is
not a pleasant experience. This is where the route of the problem came about, that seed was
planted into her subconscious mind, and created the panic anxiety attacks.
By taking panic attack drugs is just a temporary solution, and simply
will not be any benefit on a long term basis.
